COURSE PROGRAM AND LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
Management & Prevention of Peri-Implant Disease.
• Understanding the risk of peri-implantitis may start from surgical decision making at the time of implant
placement.
• Dr. Jensen will share his findings on preserving the first vertical 2mm of bone, termed as the "ring of bone" at
the most critical for avoiding surface exposure and the risk of peri-implantitis.
• Management of crestal bone around implants and Papilla management and its relationship to both the
platform switch and the platform bone switch.
ABOUT DR JENSEN:
Dr. Jensen is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon known worldwide in the field of dental implants and reconstructive surgery. He has over 100 peer reviewed publications and has written more than 50 book chapters. Dr. Jensen is the 2016 recipient of the Branemark Award for lifetime achievement in the field of Implant dentistry, the highest honor bestowed by the Academy of Osseointegration’s Foundation and The Titanium Society. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Dr. Jensen is a frequent guest lecturer at U.S. and international seminars and symposiums.
